About Us

I was born in the wrong time period. I've had a fascination with anything Victorian or Regency since the first time I saw Pride & Prejudice on public television. Of course, falling madly in love with Colin Firth was also a wonderful side effect.

I was a child prodigy in both music and fine art since the age of 10, so I'm self-taught. In 2015 during a summer break, I taught myself coloured pencils. In 2017 when my confidence grew, I began posting to the empty Etsy shop I'd opened years ago, in hopes of selling my art. What I found, instead, was that art wasn't selling much there, but scrapbooking was HOT, so my first foray into digitals was in designing Victorian, vintage, and shabby chic scrapbook papers in modern colours, as well as in all sizes.

But my heart is still partial to Victorian.

Fast-forward to today. I'm still doing coloured pencil, and while I've now returned to mixed-media (cards and gifts), I've also begun designing kits and papers for junk journals! And I ABSOLUTELY love and enjoy it. I post videos of my projects using my original papers to my YT channel monthly for now, so be sure and check those out.

Our company is a small company, consisting of one artist and designer, and 3 very bad studio assistants. Since we are just starting out, we will be constantly evolving and growing.

We provide a wide range of products that are guaranteed to be completely original, one-of-a-kind products without the use of generative AI. After I had 2 paintings scraped 2 years ago, I saw what it was then and refuse to engage with it. I also take time to educate others on its detrimental effects, both to the planet, as well as the life and livelihood of an artist. Our mission is to hopefully meet every need you have and if we don't have it, we will work with you to create it!

Thank-you so much for visiting GlitterCat Studios!

Time to meet your bad stoobio assistants!

These monkeys keep the business running incredibly smoothly...until they get in its way. But if it weren't for them, I'd never be able to deal with life's stresses. (From left to right):

  • General Toot--the newest member of the team, this rescued registered F3 Bengal lives up to his name of General (although there are days I'd love to bust him back to private). Paying meticulous attention to detail, he supervises all daily operations by sticking his nose into everything. He doesn't hesitate to tell you all about his day in 50 ways and in two different languages.

  • Yumyum--this rescued Bengal-mix can be crunchy at times since he came from a horrible past, but he's also a cuddle bug if given the proper food motivation. As a foodie, he carefully curates our daily menus.

  • Lieutenant Castillo--named after the famous hard-nosed lieutenant from Miami Vice, this boy survived a hard-as-nails past and I rescued him from my campus apartment parking lot. In spite of his inauspicious beginnings, he is my bestie; my emotional support, and my comic relief. Having a bad day? Just watch him on "So You Think You Can Scratchy Dance", a show he developed from his time spent on his scratching post.
