"A Day at the Carnival" is a 10" x 8" art print based on one of my coloured pencil originals. It is mounted on a 3/8" wooden stretcher bar and is gallery-wrapped, meaning the image also bleeds onto the sides. This is the type of mounting used in high-end museums and galleries all around the world.
 

My grandmother had her house FULL of carnival glass and I remember drinking from her tall gold, glass tumblers and being fascinated with the interference colours that created that duochrome effect. Even as a kid my favourite colour was shiny. Carnival glass isn't worth anything per se, since it was offered as prizes at county fairs all over the country, which is originally how it got its name. I don't think they offer it anymore due to hygiene restrictions, so perhaps that makes it worth something after all. For years I had her gold candy dish on a pedestal. I treasured that piece as it always reminded me of her. Now they're both gone, but I still have the memories.
 

This print is part of a limited-edition print series that are numbered, and includes the Certificate of Authenticity.

Returns will ONLY be accepted for damage during shipping.
